What's on offer?

A 90-minute co-creation workshop where you can contribute your experiences to the LGBTQ+ history timeline, and share your hopes on the future hopes wall. This will be followed by a 30-minute panel Q&A where you will have the chance to put questions to event leaders from University of Strathclyde and guest organisations.

Refreshments will be provided.

What's it about?

This highly interactive event invites members of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies to share their memories and experiences as we chart the milestones of our LGBTQ+ history (legal, social, cultural and personal), and state our commitments and hopes for the future of the LGBTQ+ community. Following co-creation of the  exhibition, there will be a panel discussion on LGBTQ+ equalities.

Please note there is no requirement to share your experiences if you don’t wish to. You are welcome to just come and be a part of what we aim to be a safe and positive event to explore the history and the potential future of the LGBTQ+ community.

Who's leading the event?

Kayleigh Charlton, Research Associate at the Children and Young People’s Centre for Justice, University of Strathclyde

Yvette Taylor, Professor, Strathclyde Institute of Education, University of Strathclyde

Jack McKinlay, PhD Student, Strathclyde Institute of Education, University of Strathclyde
